As we conclude another year it always gives us reason to reflect on what has happened and then to quickly turn our thoughts to what we hope to accomplish in the coming year. As I look back on 2005 a couple of thoughts jump to the front of my mind which are the natural disasters that seemed to just keep coming from the end of 2004 all through 2005. We learn a lot about ourselves during disasters, but the thing that I appreciate most is the good that comes out of people in those events to help others who have just had their lives altered in a significant way. I love how generous people are no matter how many of these disasters seem to hit which is a good sign that most of humanity still believes that caring for others is the right thing to do. We learn that all of us have feelings for other human beings and do not want to see them suffer needlessly. My hat is off to all of those that gave of their time and money to ease the pain of those who suffered in those disasters.
Secondly, I am reminded of how the great employees at Reimer Express Lines can always meet a challenge. We started the year with some rather poor results but true to the nature of our great company we rallied and put that second effort into place and ended with another successful year on the books. I know that our parent company is pleased with our results in 2005 and so impressed are they that they have asked us to do much more in 2006! At least I know that if there is anyone who can handle the task-IT IS ALL OF THE EMPLOYEES AT REIMER EXPRESS LINES! I appreciate your contribution to our success and look forward to 2006 where we will continue to perform as the best trucking company in Canada!
